Although this sounds scary, Jesus runs completely beginner friendly non-contact alternative ice hockey- which we call alts. It’s open to everyone at Oxford, you can turn up whenever you like, our sessions run on Wednesdays 23:15-01:00 am and Fridays 22:15-0:00, so quite late! It’s very fun, check us out on

Hi, my name is Christina and I’m the captain for Jesus Mixed Lacrosse. For the past two years we have played in a team with Catz. We are a really inclusive team, open to anyone, so no worries if you’ve never picked up a lacrosse stick. It’s social, relaxed and really good fun so please come along.

Jesus College Netball Team competes in the mixed leagues (Michelmas and Hilary) and the mixed and non-mixed cuppers tournaments (Trinity). We are a friendly and sociable team that welcomes everyone, and that somehow seems to beat all our opposition despite only training around once a year. We even had an undefeated season in Michelmas! Come and join in if you want to throw a ball around (/potentially catch it if you’re lucky) and kick some other college’s ass.

Jesus College Boat Club consistently remain in the first and second divisions for both Torpids and Summer VIIIs with our M3 most recently receiving blades. We continue to compete at novice and senior levels both within and external to the university and are maintaining the unparalleled good chat you can’t find anywhere else. Last year’s winners of the cuppers bowl competition, JCRFC have had a great season so far and are looking forward to continuing our plate campaign in Trinity. Until then, it’s league games and practice, with a side of socials.

JCTC usually meets on Saturdays for a relaxed hit around and some short games. It’s really relaxed and anyone is welcome to come along. We have a mix of abilities so it’s the perfect chance to have a go at tennis if you haven’t played before and we have spare rackets if you don’t own one! We also play some competitions, including at JesusxJesus varsity and tennis cuppers which takes place in trinity.
