Hi guys, I’m Max and I’m a second-year Engineer. Engineering at Oxford is a four year course in which you study four main areas (Mathematics, Electronic and Information, Structures and Mechanics, and Energy) in the first two years, before specialising in the final two years. It’s no secret that the degree can feel intense at times with a lot of lectures, tutorials, labs, and work to be getting on with. Balancing this, alongside the abundance of social perks that studying at Oxford brings, can sometimes feel like a challenge. Fortunately, here at Jesus, we are very lucky to have such a supporting community of great tutors and really friendly peers to help guide you through your years here. If you’ve had anything close to the same experience I have here, then I am sure you will really love the course and uni life in general.
