Message from a Student

Hi, I’m Callum and I’m a second-year chemistry student. For your first year, you will take four papers on: Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry as well as a Mathematics paper. You will be required to complete labs as well throughout the three years. In second year, you will have three exams at the end of Trinity term on Organic, Inorganic and Physical; you will also have the option of doing a supplementary module in which you will examined on in Hilary. In third year, you have an options paper (covering more specific areas of your choosing) and 6 exams in the core topics. In fourth year you will have the freedom to choose a certain research topic with a tutor. Jesus has a friendly and large chemistry student body.
